A: A limo drivers, more appropriately referred to as a chauffeur, is a job title that is classified under the “service industry” much like a waiter, bellhop, delivery personnel, hotel concierge, or skycap. These personnel are hired for the sole purpose of customer service and they are dependent on the gratuities of their company’s patrons to meet their personal income requirements. If a service person does not perform their duties to their patron’s utmost desires then they are likely to be tipped poorly, if at all, and will most likely not hold their job position long. Some service positions are held with very high regard and are highly sought after for their lucrative nature.
